Technically, I spent 7 days 6 nights (18 Apr – 24 Apr) in Hong Kong but I arrived around 4pm on my first day and I departed for return flight around 7am. For the 5.5 days in Hong Kong I spent approximately HKD 3,499 / USD 455.

I have recently returned from Bangkok, for 7D6N and spent approximately THB 12,315 / USD 370, excluding airfare. It was neither a thrifty nor a luxury trip, there were few big expenses, only one of these was unforseen.

The first time I travelled to Japan, I was fairly paranoid: feared that I might be breaking their protocols or unknowingly violating their etiquette.

This was not a sight of interest, but something I am privileged to experience, as I am travelling with my WWOOF hosts. On my off day, I tagged along with them and had some unique experience!

There are multiple telecom companies in Taiwan that offer tourist SIM card. I purchased from Chunghwa Telecom as it was the first telecom company I found. (Updated on 5 Jan 2018)
