PMQ 元創方
PMQ is a former Police Married Quarters, and have been revamped as an unique marketplace for local designers. This place is pretty cool, with lots of small little stores and lots of Hong Kong local designer / brands.
No doubt the prices of merchandise might be slightly higher but you will find lots of unique and quality stuff. PMQ is a good place to walk around, also to hunt for your loots. Take a stroll in the building, and immerse in the historical architecture with art work around; the staircases are mostly (if not all) painted with an art piece.
If you like to chill, there are also good cafes around for you to enjoy and to view the bits of Sheung Wan. There is also a small little garden with chairs for you to rest your tired feet.
Do check out their website for exhibition too, if you’re interested. =)
Sheung Wan is the nearest MTR station, and it takes about 15-20mins walk uphill to PMQ. You may refer to map here for direction.
